KIVA: The Journal of Southwestern Anthropology and History
Kiva was founded in the 1930s by the Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society as an outlet for publication on the bourgeoning archaeological work on the American southwest. This region, more than any other in the country, is the most popular region for archaeological work in the nation, both professional and avocational.
Throughout its life, Kiva has published the best voices in southwest archaeology, and has included in its domain history, ethnology & anthropology, and linguistics. Kiva is edited by James E. Snead, Anthropology Department, California State University, Northridge. Recent theme issues have highlighted key topics in the field and the journal is universally regarded as the key publication for southwest archaeologists.
Kiva welcomes unsolicited, original papers relating to the prehistoric and historic archaeology, ethnology, history, anthropology, and linguistics, and ethnohistory of the southwestern United States. The journal operates with a 5-member board, including Michael Adler, Shereen Lerner, Barbara Mills, Steven Sims, and Marisa Elisa Villalpando.

International Journal of Educational Reform
Many countries are engaged in education reform in order to develop the human resources necessary to remain competitive in the international marketplace. One keyword in many of these reforms is innovation. However, innovation in education appears to have multiple meanings. Sometimes, it refers to the need for education to develop innovative people. Sometimes, it refers to new products, processes and business concepts within education itself.
International Journal of Educational Reform subscribes to a broad understanding of innovation in education in order to provide a wide platform for academic and practitioner discussion to create knowledge and exchange ideas on this important issue. In particular, we are keen to explore and examine the diversity in the current and future education landscape worldwide. We are also interested in how innovation and diversity may be an integral part of a coherent and powerful classroom, school or education system strategy, and the dilemmas and tensions faced in pursuing innovation while maintaining quality assurance in education at the same time.
